Easily one of the most unique Kirby games ever created due to its combo power system. Combining different elements to create unique power ups that change how Kirby moves, attacks and overall interacts with level environments creates unique speedrun that uses a little of everything and rarely relies on any single power.

Paper Mario for the Nintendo 64 is a turn based role-playing game with a low skill floor and incredibly high skill ceiling in all aspects of movement, menu navigation and battle execution. Speedruns may be on the longer side, but they are full of constant tight execution at a high level.

Remade for the Nintendo Switch, this classic role-playing game has a completely different speedrun than the original Super Nintendo version due to numerous new modes and mechanics.

The Mega Man Battle Network games (MMBN) are a series of action role-playing games for the Game Boy Advance that incorporates deck building in a unique and incredibly deep way, making speedruns a simultaneous test of skill in execution and deck building.

An incredibly deep (and difficult) entry in the Pokémon series, the speedruns for this game involve a lot of math both during and even before a run begins.

Let’s Go is a very fun speedrun to simply execute due to how dynamic and reactionary the game can be. While that also makes it far from consistent, it definitely stands on its own among other Pokémon games.

A wild action adventure game starring Pikachu on the Wii. The story involves Mew trying to destroy the world and forcing Pikachu to make friends through a series of minigames. Speedruns are fairly straightforward, but incredibly deep with game knowledge and routing.

Originally released for the Satellaview, a Japanese only extension of the Super Nintendo, BS Zelda is a sort of remake of the first Zelda with minor changes throughout.

The Minish Cap (TMC), is the last Zelda game developed in cooperation with Capcom. The game is overall fairly short, but has what many consider some of the best pixel art ever created for a video game. The speedruns are fast paced tests of execution including some incredibly precise setups for RNG manipulation.

Across the Gameboy line of consoles, there are a handful of Hamtaro games published by Nintendo. These games tend to involve word based puzzles and a variety of minigames. Speedruns are primarily based around text mashing and optimally routing the minimal puzzle solutions to progress the game.

The DOG Island is a Wii/PS2 role-playing game. It’s fairly simple mechanically, but has a very excitable niche audience built from those that happened to play it at a young age. The story is fairly deep and the speedrun relies on a very dynamic mindset, needing to adjust on the fly based on what items spawn in the early game.
